We all are equal in God's eyes. We determine what level we will obtain in society by our accomplishments and our dealings with our fellow human beings. Our pride seems as hard as diamond, but dealing with life we fail to realize that as human beings how frail and delicate people's emotions can be. So, as human beings, we seek out what is familiar to us, and as spiritual creatures we are drawn to pursue our salvation through the mouths of others and the teachings of life.

Embacing the future
I haven't been taking the time to write down my thoughts about what has been going on with me this past year. Pain has once again tried to become my constant lover, like it has in the past. This time I knew to back away from this relationship and this person immediately. I knew in my spirit to stay away from him.... The person that I thought I knew just does not even exist anymore. He made a choice to embrace the darkest side of his life. That made my season over with him. It is really something to watch a person fall and can't reach your hand out to catch them. Because you know they will just pull you down with them.... So I now embrace the future. I stand on what Grandmother Ellen would always say, "don't pickup what you can't put down" and "I love me!" It is time to do ART....

So little time?....

We complain about how we never have enough time. Well, here's some food for thought. Imagine that you are incarcerated in prison for 10 years and that everyday ended up looking like the next. You had to find something different to do that was noteworthy and important to keep yourself from becoming institutionalized until your sentence was complete.... Cherish the time that God has blessed you with!!

Trusting people these days...
It seems to me that the older I get, the smaller circle has become in my life of people I can trust. If you are friendly, outgoing, creative, with a lot of projects going on because of that endless energy going thru your being on a constant basis; you'll get what I call "haters" coming at you. "Haters" are people who 1) don't like themselves, 2) don't take time to love what God loves about them, 3) just plain old jealous!!
Life is just too short and important to waste your time on trying to get people to accept you for who you are. "Bless those who curse you, pray for those who despitefully use you, & love your enemies." Those words from God takes MUCH Grace from the Lord to take place in our lives...
